Subject: Discontinuance of Family Planning Allowance for adoption of small family norms- recommendation of the 7th Central Pay Commission.
The undersigned has been instructed to refer to the OM Number 7 (20) / 2008-i-II IA of this Ministry dated 24.9.2008 regarding the current rates of Family Employment Allowance (FPA) for Central Government employees and to say this For the matter of the allowance (except draft allowance) on the basis of the recommendation of the 7th Central Pay Commission, as on July 25, 2016, the resolution no. Para 7 of 1-2 / 2016-IC was sent to a committee headed by the Finance Ministry. Until the Secretary and his final decision, all the allowances were required to be paid at the existing rates in the existing payment structure (pay structure on the basis of 6th Pay Commission), because the wage has not been amended. January 1, 2016. Accordingly, it was also necessary to pay the FAP at the current rates specified in the above OM before 24.9.2008.
2. Following the recommendations of the 7th Central Pay Commission and the recommendation of the Committee under the chairmanship of the Finance Secretary, various allowances have been notified according to resolution No. 11-11 from the government's decision. 1/2016-IC date July 6, 2017
3. As in S.L. Recommendation of cancellation of family planning allowance to the recommendation of 60 Parliamentary Pay Commission of Appendix-60 of dated July 6, 2017 dated July 6, 2017 has been accepted and this decision is effective from the LSL July, 2017. Accordingly, FPA family planning will not be available in all cases allowance, so far
4. These orders will be effective from July 1, 2017 and hence the family planning allowance will be closed. July 1, 2017
5. In the Indian audit and accounting department, the employees serving in the department are issued in their application, these orders are in consultation with the CAGG office.
