The All India Consultation Process will be started on July 3 and CBSE NEET results will be used to enter approximately 65,170 seats of MBBS in 470 medical colleges across the country and 308 Dental colleges will be used for admission in approximately 25,730 BDS seats.


New Delhi: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) today released National Eligibility cum Entrance Examination (NEET) 2017 results. The All India Consultation Process will be started on July 3 and CBSE NEET results will be used to enter approximately 65,170 seats of MBBS in 470 medical colleges across the country and 308 Dental colleges will be used for admission in approximately 25,730 BDS seats. Directorate of Health Services (DGHS), Government of India conducts consultation of 15% All India Kota seats as it was done in previous years.

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has constituted a Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) to consult for admission in 15% of all Indian Kota seats.

The online process will be done on the MCC official website, mcc.nic.in.

Online counseling will be organized on the basis of NEET UG result declared by CBSE, New Delhi.

NET Consulting Process

The consultation process will be conducted in two rounds. The procedure for NEET online consultation is as follows:

Online registration: To participate in NEET consultation, the candidate has to register by filling his original details. Without registration, the candidates will not be able to participate in the consultation process. After registration, candidates will get a unique user id and password in the registered e-mail id and mobile number. Candidates will have to register with the given User ID and Password for further processing.
Choice filling and locking: Now, candidates have to choose medical / dental colleges and courses according to their preference. After the final selection, candidates will need to click the "Save" button and lock their options. Options must be locked
Results declaration: After a few days of consultation process, the candidate will receive an SMS or email related to the courses and colleges allocated. Candidates will be allotted seats on the basis of rank and colleges option.
Reporting in the allotted college: After the result announcement, the candidates will have to report in the allotted college and confirm their seat by paying the course fees. If the candidate fails to report to the allotted college at the time given to the candidate, then the next candidate will be given the seat.
